Emerald City by Alicia K Leppert Blog Tour

( Big Thanks to Netgalley, Cedar Fort Publishing and the wonderful Alicia K Leppert for allowing me to be a part of this book)

Emerald City by Alicia K Leppert
Publisher:Cedar Fort Publishing
Publish Date: April 9, 2012

Summary from NetGalley:

One city of 600,000 people.

One broken girl.

One mysterious boy.

One fateful night,

Two worlds collide.

###################################################################

Seattle, Washington. The sprawling, industrious city set in a blanket of pine. I have never known a day that wasn’t spent inside this concrete jungle. It’s my home, and for that I love it. But it’s also the setting for the tragedy called my life, and so I loathe it.

I live alone in a cold, empty studio apartment. The tiny square room closely resembles a cell. That’s my life: solitary confinement.

Here, in this desolate place that perfectly reflects my soul, my story begins.

Review:
Emerald City starts out in the life of a young woman named Olivia. Olivia's life has be far from easy, she works as a waitress , barely gets by on that paycheck, has no friends , and spends each evening all alone in her pathetic little apartment. One day for Olivia it all becomes to much and soon finds herself downing a handful of pills, ready to fade away from her life, but instead of dieing she is saved by a man who says he is her neighbor...Jude.

With mysterious Jude, Olivia begins to glue the pieces of her life back together, but there is still so much she does not know about the man who lives across from her . He always seems to be there when she needs him the most . Is it possible to grow feelings for a man you don't really know much about , a man who always seems to be holding back? I really enjoyed getting to see Olivia grow , inch by inch , you get a chance to see if Olivia could ever handle being on her own, more importantly can the fragile Olivia survive the secret that Jude is keeping . Emerald City touches on the fragile existence of love and longing . Can Olivia make if Jude disappears from her life like everyone else has? Can Olivia and Jude's relationship survive if Jude does stay? Dive into this book and see just how far one will go in order to have love.

I highly recommend this book, there is so much about this book I wish I could share with you ,but it would be a Major spoiler alert so I will behave and just urge you to read the book. Hope you enjoy the secret Jude is keeping as much as I did. So whats stopping you go Pre- Order Emerald City... amazon is linked below :)
